The JOYO JF-01 overdrive pedal features warm overtones when used as a clean volume boost, and when cranked to 11 the pedal has the searing tone and warmth of a classic overdriven tube amp. The JF-01 pedal features three control functions: Volume (output), Drive (gain) and Tone (treble boost or cut, focused around the 2-5K range).

This JF-01 circuit features true-bypass wiring, and the world-renowned JRC4588 chip provides a full sound. From gobs of thick midrange to a modest top-end boost, the JF-01 pedal is versatile, yet consistent between guitars. A bit darker than my OCD, but still organic and warm sounding - juicy tone goodness. Sounds good on single coils and humbuckers. I run it in front of my Peavey C30 w/2x12 cab.

This is a "must have". I have a few of these in different pedalboards. I use it as a dirty boost, but it would serve as a good stand alone overdrive. AND you can't beat the price.

I waited for months to get this pedal. Not really happy with how long it took or lack of communicating what the delay was. Anyway... I like the stomp box. I normally don't use distortion pedals. I like this one thru a fender deville. Sounds like an overdriven amp.
