Deering designed its traditional, arch top, hardshell case to protect your special banjo. To protect the neck from breakage it has extra wedge padding in the peghead region. It has a roomy interior storage section and sturdy padding in the resonator area.

This Deering hardshell banjo case is constructed of rigid plywood. It has long neck support with thick plush padding all around the body, neck and peghead to protect your valuable instrument. The handy storage compartment inside is perfect for your strap, picks and tuner. Also features a rugged leather handle, arched top for addred protection and a lockable clasp.

The open back standard size is 11". A 12" option is also available.

The case is very well made however, it did not shut easily with my Deering banjo inside. I've never had this experience with a banjo case I purchased. The folks at Deering said this wasn't unusual and that the tight fit would not damage my instrument.
