Good news! -- Seymour Duncan has released their most popular pickup models in pre-matched sets, to take the guesswork out of determining which pickups work well together. Each matched set is targeted to a specific type of customer and their musical taste. Includes all necessary mounting hardware and wiring instructions.
The Vintage Blues Set is made up of a pair of calibrated SH-1 '59 Model pickups for the neck and bridge positions. This set is based on the vintage P.A.F. humbuckers of the late '50s and is perfect for blues, jazz, and classic rock.
application
Versatile P.A.F.-type humbucker. Great for country, jazz, blues, funk, classic rock and heavy rock.
description
This pickup set delivers real-deal vintage tone for your Les PaulŪ or
other double-humbucker guitar. Inside is a matched pair of SH-1 '59
humbuckers, one specially calibrated for the neck position, and one for
the bridge.
Designed and hand-built just like the original humbuckers of the late
'50s, the '59 is our most popular and most versatile vintage humbucker,
perfect for classic rock, blues, jazz, and country. Expect warm and
crystalline clean tones, full and bright distortion, and smooth sustain.
Classic appointments include plain enamel wire, long legged bottom
plate, Alnico V magnets, and single conductor cable. A wiring diagram
and mounting hardware are included. The bridge model is designed for
bridges with traditional string spacing of 1.925" or 48.9mm measured
over the bridge pickup.
complete setup
Available in both neck and bridge models. Often a '59 neck is used
together with a hotter bridge pickup like the SH-4 JB or SH-13
Dimebucker for extra versatility.

For balanced and warm instruments. Works especially well with mahogany bodies and rosewood fingerboards.
