The Gold Tone Pickup was priced right with speedy shipping. I pair with a Fender Acoustasonic 90W Amp and it sounds very banjo like.

Just as described. From buying to shipping to installing into my banjo everything went great.  You lose some of the authentic "banjo" sound with this thing but the sound produced is still unmistakably banjo. Great for playing country etc. where that true bluegrass sound isn't exactly what you're after.... and country is what I'll be playing with this thing so it's perfect.

This turned out to be just what I was looking for in a pickup for my Deering banjo.I play at a local restaurant with a guitarist, outside near traffic, and I needed to project.The Gold Tone gives me the sound and tone reproduction that I had hoped for.Installation was a breeze.It took 20 minutes from start to finish and is totally adjustable for positioning for pickup quality.I would highly recommend this product.There is no soldering and the pickup is spaced away from the banjo head.The jackpin mounts easily and can be moved to just about any convenient position.A great product!
