I’ve tried other lap steels, this one’s the best one in the “value” price range!  Tone is solid and the humbucker used is pretty hot...provides even, solid sustain.  Thanks also to Instrument Alley.  I had never ordered anything from Instrument Alley, but they were great.  Fast fulfillment, they immediately sent me an email to track the order, and it arrived safe and sound!

Although it took them 5 days to tell me the color I wanted was backordered, the rep who emailed me was very responsive, and I received the instrument within the time frame stated, in perfect condition.
