I have read some complaints in other review but I didn't experience any negative issues. Although in the middle of the Christmas season, I always received polite, friendly replies to my email questions. The order and shipping process were seamless without any unexpected delays. It was a totally positive experience and I would recommend this company to anyone.

Had to wait two weeks for the product to arrive and there wasn't much communication in terms of order status, but my Tenor Guitar arrived in good condition.  No complaints.

I am quite impressed with the instrument ordered.  However, being able to track my order was less than acceptable.  After 2 weeks of nothing, I called and left a voice mail - no response.  A day later I left an Email and got a response from Instrumentally that they had processed my order that day ie. 2 weeks after I had placed my order with them.  NOT GOOD!

I am very satisfied with the Blueridge BR-40T I bought through Instrument Alley. The guitar arrived in a reasonable amount of time, and had no dammage whatsoever. Pro tip: make sure you are aware of the import duties and whether you have to pay them upon reception (if you live in another country than the U.S.). That said, I have no complaints. Great instrument!

i have had three tenor guitars over the years.   this blueridge has the best tone of them all.  i am very happy with the tone, the fit, and the finsh.  well worth the money.  instrument alley had it to me in three days.  they also had the best price i could find.  recommended.

4 of 5 Best Tenor deal around February 26, 2011

If you're going to get a tenor guitar, and money IS an object, this is the one to go for.  The sound is both better and more 1920s-authentic than the laminate-topped Gold Tone, and why pay more for decorations that don't affect the sound.

My only warning is to have new strings on hand, because those on my BR-40T came blackened and pitted with corrosion (even though the strings were wrapped in a paper sleeve).

By the way, the 'Little Martin' gig bag fits this instrument just fine.
