I was very impressed with my new OS Tenor uke. The sound and finish are beautiful, the quality and craftsmanship are second to none. I was pleasantly surprised when mine arrived with silver running machine pegs instead of the ebony ones listed and pictured all over the internet. I spoke with Oscar Schmidt and they were also unaware that their plant that makes them had switched to these new silver ping tuning machines. However, they did mention that many people complained about the uke’s being too heavy with the previous tuning machines used. All in all, I prefer the silver back exposed tuners they went with. Great buy and even greater buy! Instrument Alley rocks!! Thanks guys!!

Beautiful and Functional Ukulele

Instrument Alley (IA) was very helpful in finding this left handed ukulele for me . Was back in stock in approximated time as told by IA staff . Ordered beforehand to ensure acquisition . Received shortly when in stock and was impressed with this uke . Comes with soft case but , upgraded to hard case and received both . Uke is so good looking as to put on pedestal and not play it at all . Tuned and sounds really good . Strings take a little time to adjust when new and will keep checking tuning . Will update review if anything changes .
Completely ecstatic with my Spalted Mango Uke!!
