Description Technical Specs

Developed in the spirit of creativity and prosperity that was felt in America after the turn of the century and from the aftermath of the Great San Francisco Quake of 1906, Saga musical instruments remembers the past by introducing the New Blueridge BR-341 Historic “Earthquake” Series Parlor-style guitars. Developed from exceptional instrument examples from that time period and clearly proves that quality can stand the test of time. Amazing quality build and sound. I have many high end guitars. I purchased this "cheap" Chinese made as a traveler and to have laying around the living room. I believe build quality, materials and SOUND are first rate. I don't want to believe that but it's true.

5 of 5 Amazing at this Price Point January 21, 2016

With the various discounts and the included case, this was an amazing deal.  This guitar sounds better for its size and price than it has any right to.
I mostly play a classical with a 2" wide neck, so the nice wide 1 7/8" neck on the BR-341 keeps my fingers from getting confused as I go back and forth. Great fingerstyle guitar!
Not as pretty (or expensive) as its rosewood siblings, but IMO the mahogany warms down the inherent brightness of steel strings and a small body.

    Could not be happier!

    5 of 5 Blueridge Parlor BR 341 August 5, 2015
    Reviewer: John from Boulder Colorado
This guitar is exactly what I hoped it would be.  Slightly wider neck for finger style playing.  Looks great, plays better.  I was very surprised that this 0 sized Parlor would have as much volume as it does.  No it is not a dreadnaught in volume, but it has a very full sound.  Mahogany for a slightly warmer tone.  Bone saddle and nut give great sustain, and the ebony fingerboard and fret finish is a bit better than my Martin 000-16.  The size is much more comfortable than a dreadnaught or 000.  Nice case.  It has become my most played guitar.  Just one mild complaint was there was a slight finish build up by the edge of the neck that was missed at Blueridge and Instrument Alley was able to obtain a satisfactory adjustment in price for me.
Would have bought locally, but they didn't set it up at all, and in fact the frets were protruding a bit leaving a sharp edge.  Further, the local price was significantly higher with no case included.  I ended up saving about 25%.
