Tuned like a standard bass and to the same pitch, the Oscar Schmidt Ukulele Bass sounds strikingly like an upright bass. With a spruce top and beautiful Koa back and sides, the OUB500 is part of our Comfort Series. This series is characterized by the rosewood comfort rest on the lower bout that offers an additional level of comfort for your forearm and a rosewood partial cutaway for accessing the upper frets. The integrated electronics make the OUB500 a great performance instrument. Comes strung with Aquila® Bass Ukulele strings.

Best Uk Bass Ever Sounds as Good as it Looks	May 29, 2019

Arrived safely and was well set up. Looks great and sounds even better. "Comfort" edges really look nice and make it easy to play for extended periods without arm 'ridges'! One of the best soft cases around and the electronic tuner really works well, even for the lowest string.
