UPDATE on the Main Street American Flag Strat Copy

WOW!!!! After playing for a few days, the strings and the tone have REALLY come through. I have brought out tones that the Squire strats that I own (a '95 mex and a '15 Chinese)CANNOT produce. For around $100, you NEED to buy this guitar and make the changes I listed earlier. From Rush to Metallica to SRV,(believe it or not!) this thing ROCKS!

American Flag Strat Style Guitar

Out of the box it was basically playable after tuning. However, after removing the strings (it came with .10's and I prefer .09's)I noticed all the nuts on the tuning pegs were loose, all the screws on the tuning machines were loose... Basically everything was loose from the cable jack to the pick guard to the sting guides on the head. Also, the rosewood fretboard was so dry it was pink. I used some fretboard conditioner and it REALLY looks good now. So, after I fixed all of this stuff, lowered the saddles, raised the pickups a bit and changed the strings.... I REALLY like this guitar! What a great deal for $100!!! I would definitely recommend it!

Patriotic guitar

I was looking for an inexpensive patriotic guitar that I could use to play for holiday gigs (fourth of July, Memorial Day, Labor day, etc.) and this one nicely fits the bill. Its very playable, came already set up nicely right out of the box and we had a lot of fun with it this past Independence day. Excellent value for just a little over a hundred bucks.
