The correct tuning of the KM 300E from low to high strings is; C G D A. which is the same tuning as a mandola, or viola. A fact that is not specified in any info, or advertisement in respect to the aforementioned emando. Although, I have found it to be an excellent instrument for Jazz performance, and recording.
