The guitar is nice and was a good price based on internet search. Part of the appeal was it came with a hard case, but I was not forewarned that the case came with a California Prop 65 sticker, which from what I can tell is pretty typical of guitar cases. When I inquired about the sticker I did not get a reply from Instrument Alley, I did get a reply from the Washburn people, telling me not to eat or lick the case.

More than I expected

I'm what I'd call a guitar addict, owning or having owned dozens of them, including Martin, Gibson, Guild, Fender, and many others. I was looking for a guitar that I could just sort of knock around with and not be too concerned about damaging in some way. I wanted a solid wood guitar. A friend told me that a Washburn would be a good idea. I decided on the WD250SW and I'm very satisfied with my choice. It sounds good, looks good, and plays as well as a lot of more expensive acoustics. It's more than I expected. What made it even better was that Instrument Alley's price, which included a deluxe hardshell Washburn case, was far lower than anywhere else I could find the guitar without a case. An unbeatable deal.
